The
Texas Biennial was
founded in Austin by Bolm Studios, Camp Fig, the Dougherty Arts
Center,
Eastside Artist Coop and Gallery
Lombardi.
These five art spaces joined forces to develop and promote the
many talented artists that live in Texas. Over 600 submissions
from
99 Texas cities were received, and the final 36 artists, representing
12 Texas cities, were chosen by a 12 member jury panel. |
